The vast majority of English classes will be visiting the LRC on Wednesday, 17 June to listen to the experiences of two refugees (Olivier and Emily). Those classes will return to their lesson to write a poem or a creative piece of writing. During period 5, those students with the best poem / piece of writing chosen will return to the LRC and read it out. This will be broadcast live across the academy for all classes to watch.
There will also be donation buckets in the LRC all day and the proceeds will be going to UNICEF to help children suffering in Nepal following the earthquakes.
