UPDATE 23 APRIL
In order to hopefully speed up the delivery of your FSM voucher, on Thursday 23 April (or soon thereafter), you will receive FOUR weeks’ worth of money to cover meals for those 20 days. Please only contact The Academy if you have not received your voucher by Monday 27 April.
Unlike before, you would have received one voucher per child at Woodkirk Academy. You will now receive only ONE voucher for four weeks for all of the children in your household who attend Woodkirk Academy.
This will be your FSM allocation until Wednesday 13 May.
- one child for 4 weeks = £60;
- two children for 4 weeks = £120;
- three children for 4 weeks = £180.
You will receive just one voucher for all children for the full four weeks

UPDATE 13 APRIL:
FROM THE DfE:
"The Department for Education’s free school meals voucher programme has already delivered over 300,000 school meal vouchers to eligible families since its launch last week.
That said, there has been unprecedented demand and order volumes, and some orders have been in a queue waiting to be fulfilled, we appreciate your patience and do recognise the importance and sensitivity of distributing vouchers to families in need."
FROM THE VOUCHER COMPANY:
"During the course of the last week, orders placed within the Edenred system (the company issuing the vouchers) were higher than anticipated. This had an impact on the performance and experience.
Our teams have been working day and night through the Easter weekend to process orders and develop the system capability and performance for the weeks ahead. Improvements are being applied every day."
