Careers Events

During the Autumn/Winter term of the 2018/19 academic year we were incredibly busy organising and delivering a number of successful Careers events. These included:

  • Annual Careers Fair
  • A visit into Year 10 and 11 R.E. lessons from a prominent Imam
  • Guest speaker presentation from the Bank of England technology team for all Year 9 students
  • Mock interviews for 26 Year 12 and 13 students conducted by corporate professionals
  • Trip to Leeds University student halls for Year 12 students

We have many exciting events planned for the Spring/Summer 2019 terms. So far the following events are confirmed:

  • Feeding Britain’s Future STEM workshop for Year 12 students – March 2019
  • Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors workshops for Year 9 students – March 2019
  • Guest speaker presentation for Year 12 students by Project Trust (volunteer gap year work)
  • Civil engineering workshop for Year 9 students – July 2019
  • Workplace visit to Curtins, our Enterprise Adviser Partnership company – July 2019
