Students make their options choices in the spring term of the final year of Key Stage 3; they then have the choice of subjects that they will study. There are different pathways within Key Stage 4, allowing all students the flexibility of picking between academic and vocational subjects. Students have the options of picking at least three subjects, with some having the choice of four depending on their science route.
