Woodkirk Academy GCSE Results 2026
Today is about celebrating the achievements of so many fantastic young people and recognising the hard work, determination and resilience they have shown throughout their time at Woodkirk Academy.
At Woodkirk, we want every student to be the best that they can be, and we know that success looks different for every young person. We are proud of all our students, not only for the results they have achieved, but for the determination, kindness and responsibility they have shown along the way. By embodying our values of Work Hard, Be Kind and Take Responsibility, they have achieved personal success and have taken an important step towards their future ambitions.
We are particularly excited to welcome so many of our students back into the Sixth Form in September. Following the best-ever Sixth Form results in 2025 and again in 2026, our Sixth Form continues to be among the highest-performing providers in Leeds and the highest-performing in our local area. We are looking forward to supporting the next generation of students as they continue their journey and achieve even greater success in the years ahead.
Great thanks to our staff and families for the support, encouragement and guidance they have provided along the way.
Most importantly, today is about our students. We congratulate every one of them on what they have achieved and wish them every success for the future.
Woodkirk Academy A Level Results 2026
Students in Year 13 at Woodkirk Academy are celebrating once again this year, which marks the fourth successive year of higher outcomes. Once again, this year’s outcomes represent the highest achieved at Woodkirk Academy, building on the successes of 2024 and 2025, which placed the school in the top five Sixth Form providers in the city.
Principal Mr Tim Jones said “We are, once again, delighted by these outcomes and the students and staff at Woodkirk Academy should be proud of the grades that have been attained. They have worked incredibly hard, and have shown a great deal of determination and resilience. I wish all of our students the very best for the future; I look forward to hearing about their ongoing successes.”
Assistant Principal and Director of Sixth Form Mrs Kathryn Clarke said “For the huge majority, the outcomes reflect the outstanding work ethic that has been demonstrated and I am delighted that so many have successfully secured a place at their first-choice destination. Well done to them all and good luck as they move on to pastures new. We can’t wait to welcome next year’s cohort to Woodkirk Academy Sixth Form.”
