Reporting
Woodkirk Academy will regularly share with parents information about students' progress in their learning. All progress reports will be shared through Arbor.
All students in Key Stage 3 (Years 7 - 9) will receive a termly report which will include, for each subject, a score for the students conduct, attitude to learning - classroom and attitude to learning - homework. In addition, the final report of each academic year will include an attainment band for each student. More information on the grading criteria and attainment bands can be found here.
Students in Year 10 and Year 12 will receive a termly report including, for each subject, a score for the students conduct, attitude to learning - classwork and attitude to learning - independent study and their expected grade. This expected grade represents the grade which, given their current levels of attitude, engagement and attainment the teacher feels they are likely to achieve at the end of their course. Students in Year 11 and Year 13 will receive three reports each academic year including, for each subject, a score for the students conduct, attitude to learning - classwork and attitude to learning - independent study and their expected grade. Attainment data for students in Years 12 and 13 will also be published after each assessment week and for Years 11 and 13 students after their mock examinations.
