MATHS FUN DAY and HOT WEATHER

Maths' fun day will be rescheduled from Tuesday and will now be held on Thursday 21 July. This is due to the extreme hot weather. See advice below.

MATHS FUN DAY: students will be raising money for mental health awareness, Martin House hospice and Cancer research.

Year 10 students have put together all of the stalls and games and there will be lots of other fun activities going on such as:

  • sponge a teacher;
  • tug of war;
  • beat the goalie;
  • face painting.

Any donations or raffle prizes will be greatly received by the school. If you do have anything you would like to donate please send to the Maths' department.

When we last enjoyed Maths Funday, in 2018, a staggering £3,800 was raised by the students.

Many thanks,

The Maths department

HOT WEATHER

UPDATE: MONDAY 18 JULY:

The forecast for TUESDAY 19 JULY is similar, and possibly hotter still. If students would like to wear their PE kit throughout the day tomorrow, they may. This should be their white polo shirt (rather than the rugby shirt or sweatshirt).

A student may prefer to wear their uniform as they have today; the choice is theirs. Trainers can be worn.
