  Tags

Woodkirk Academy’s Student Leadership group (SLG) raised a huge amount of money for Comic Relief on Friday 13 March. They organised a red nose themed bake sale with lots of delicious treats and arranged some fun games, with all money raised going directly to the charity. Students also raised money by holding a 'non-uniform day' (wear one item of red for £1) and by making a donation for coming into school wearing red accessories. So far Woodkirk has raised £600 with donations still coming in. Mr N. Cook who directs the SLG said, "the students have worked really hard and done a terrific job organising the event."
