GCSE results 2019
Students at Woodkirk Academy are celebrating GCSE success this week.
As in previous years, students have achieved excellent results with 82% achieving a pass in English and 82% in mathematics with progress well-exceeding national averages.
Top performer Rachel achieved 9 Grade 9s and 1 Grade 8. Delighted with her results, Rachel is staying at Woodkirk Academy to continue her studies in the Sixth Form. Principal, Mrs Joe Barton, said, “Yet again students at Woodkirk Academy have performed brilliantly. Congratulations to all receiving their results. It is great to see that their hard work and efforts have led to this success”
