On Wednesday 16 November, Woodkirk Academy students showed their support for the Radio Leeds Big Baton Challenge; Radio Leeds presenters walked from Wakefield to Halifax, raising money for Children in Need.
Their route took them up Rein Road and they were cheered on by Woodkirk Academy students as they passed the school. There was also an amazing set from our Sixth Form band, Not Quite Wednesday.
